People Are Who They Are!

Frozen Pipes

Washing your hair in the kitchen sink….1 gallon of water.

Sponge bathing in the bathroom sink….1 gallon of water.

Brushing your teeth…1/2 gallon of water.

Going to school fresh and clean in spite of frozen pipes….Priceless!

  1. I'm laughing, but at the same time I feel bad for you…are your pipes still broken?

  2. No they aren't broken. It's actually warming up in the 40's and 50's during the day but dropping down here and there at night low enough for the pipes to freeze up. They thaw by noon or so on their own, but that doesn't help me in the morning when I've got to get ready. I just didn't pay attention to the weather last night and prepare for it. When I got done this morning I just had the thought that it was priceless that I had it all figured out and thought of that commercial. I was laughing at myself so hard about it, I had to put it up here. I just thought everyone else would enjoy it too.

  4. Thanks Emjay, but I'll take working out of my gallon jugs of water over your commute in the snow any day. You're the one that is tough hon!

  5. I am glad you had some water to use and that your pipes did not burst!! We have had trouble with the water in the hose of our washing machine freeze and then water pours all over the floor if the machine is turned on. But that is nothing compared to washing the way you had to!! Hope they thaw out quickly!
