People Are Who They Are!

A Dream I Had

My brother came home for a visit yesterday for the first time in a year. He looks so good and so strong and so healthy. I got to spend the whole day with him yesterday and we laughed the entire day. This morning he got up and left to go spend the day with his kids and grand kids.

I was in such a good mood when I went to sleep last night after spending time with him. I was dreaming about him being here and all of a sudden my daughter walked in the door in my dream. She looked awesome. She had her make up on, you could tell she had been straight for a while, she was smiling. She looked healthy and beautiful. I just gasped! I was so excited I started crying and when I did, I woke up and realized it was a dream. It is a dream. It's my dream that that's what will actually happen one day.

  3. I really hope things work out for you and your daughter. I am sure you love her very much, but being a daughter myself, I can tell you from experience, that a girl needs her mom like your lungs need air. Best of luck to you both.

  5. Thank you Lenobia. Mom's need their daughters the same way, but they need them whole and healthy. I just hope one day she will understand this. Welcome to my neighborhood.

  7. Wow. I have just caught up with your recent posts. You have been going through hell. I can only imagine the heartache and worry you are going through. You have some good vox friends who are helping to hold you up, I can see. Hang in there. Hang onto that dream, too. It's up to your daughter now to take care of her own problems. It sounds as if you are well on your way to keeping yourself strong. Best wishes in all things!

  8. Lauri, thank you so much. I really appreciate that you took the time to go back through and read the posts to catch up. You are so right too, I have excellent friends on Vox and I wouldn't have been able to take going through this the last few weeks without you all. I am praying that my dream comes true. Thank you again.

  9. More than once, I've dreamed of an event before it happened. The most recent one, I'd told Rich about the dream about three weeks before the thing actually happened. Freaked him out. Could very well be you just foresaw the future…You never know.

  11. I hope this dream comes true for both of you….. It's wonderful that you have such a great relationship with your brother. I can't imagine my phone bill if I talked to my siblings every day 🙂

  12. Yes, you would have a big phone bill! The only reason he and I can afford to talk like we do is because he calls me on his company cell phone. They must have an unlimited plan on those work phones because he calls me twice a day usually, once in the morning and then again at night, so those day time calls would add up quick other wise.

  13. Dreams are so good that way. They sometimes remind us of what's possible. I'm sure that dream of yours is, and one thing I know for sure, you deserve for the dream to happen. Many thoughts for you.
