People Are Who They Are!

My Granddaughter the Photographer

The other day the girls and I went up to Ms. Donna’s house (my neighbor with all of the animals.) Felicia loves it up there and loves the goats and all of the dogs. Hailey goes with us but really hasn’t shown that much interest in the animals so I had her take my camera up there with her and told her I would teach her how to use it. That got her excitement level way up! After a few minutes of instructions, I cut her loose with it. She spent the next two hours walking around Ms. Donna’s yard and house taking pictures. She actually took about 150 photos but I picked out our favorites for this post. The first one is of her that I took, but she took all of the rest of them and I didn’t do any cropping or anything to them other than resize them for the computer.

  5. She’s really good! I especially liked the feather in the weeds. If that’s what she does straight off, imagine how brilliant she’ll be with practice.

    • Me too. And the swing. I have a thing for weathered wood. Like old barns too.

  9. Wow!!! Hailey, you are very talented!!! For real. There are a lot of people who can use a camera for years and not capture such beautiful and interesting images as these.

Great job!!! Even if you’re just a little bit interested in photography you should pursue it. You have a very interesting and creative eye!!
