People Are Who They Are!

Southern Storms

This band of storms went all the way across the country yesterday. These are a few of the photos of the southern tip of the band as it was coming through. We got it in broken pieces (thank goodness) but I believe a tornado did touch down around here somewhere too.

  1. Same storms came through here (Oklahoma) the other day and I thought you’d like them, so I sent them your way. Told them to make sure and hit the Chattanooga area for Freedom Smith too.

But here there was just a lot of wind and rain.

  2. Some parts of the country are already having a ‘snow day’ – here in S. CA we are having a ‘beach’ day – which we really didn’t have all summer! Go figure. Hope all are safe in whatever part of the US and world you live in.

Your pictures are fabulous! Wow. I am glad you did not get a bad storm or anything right where you are living. I love all of the pictures. The third one looks like a painting with the lovely colors!

Four days of gale force winds here, gusting up to 40-45 MPH, which tapered off today (down to about 10 MPH).

I will try to have some decent kite pictures, if the wind is cooperative.
