Hailey got outside with the camera this morning and got a couple of pretty cool pictures. I thought I would share them with you.

Thanks TB! I thought that one was cool too.
That first one is my favorite. How amazingly cool. If that was framed and sold on Etsy I’d totally buy it for our living room.

That’s really a great compliment Emmy. She really does have a good eye for the camera.

the top one is Fantastic! I also LOVE the third one down, I wished I would have taken both of those shots. She definitely has a natural eye, I hope she knows how special that is. XO Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks Lav. I think she is just now starting to figure out that it is special. I helped her start her own blog site last night so she could post her photos to her own site and she has also written some poems that she put there. She is a very talented young lady. It’s fun to watch her blossoming.

I am so glad to hear it. Tell her about flickr.com too, you can upload for free up to 100 photos I believe. It is a great source for inspiration and there are a ton of wonderful people who can answer questions too. It has been a GREAT community for myself. Lots of groups specifically for teenage photographers, so they can share and learn from each other.

One suggestion to follow up Lavender’s comment: If Hailey’s serious about photography, it’d serve her development and education to read books, magazines etc. as well as obtain objective critiques and feedback and information from genuine photographers. The praises, ooohs and aaaaahs of of the general population might feel good temporarily (if she’s into that sorta stuff) but they do not serve her growth, neither do they offer any sophisticated or helpful feedback. Again, if she’s serious about photography, now would be a good time to avail herself of online photography sites and company.

Very cool pictures! We were hit with major winter storms weeks ago and we’re still under ice and snow–you must be significantly warmer there.
